We went to Walgreens with our list of vaccines to see which ones they offered, and to get started on our once a week regiment. They had 3 on the list (TDaP, MMR, & Hepatitis A), could order 1 more (Rabies), needed a prescription for 2 (Malaria & Typhoid), and are not certified to administer 1 (Yellow Fever). We decided to start with TDaP since they had it in stock, and we had both had it before so we knew the side effects would be minimal. After filling out all of the paperwork they informed us that our insurance would not cover it and most of the others. Just this first one was going to be $128 for the 2 of us. If they are all going to be this expensive, this will be another $1,000+ that I did not count on spending. I guess this makes up for the cheap airfare I found.
